Awardee Information: Fall 2026 Grants Expo

The Connecticut Space Grant Consortium (CTSGC) Fall 2026 Grants Expo will be held in person on:

Friday, November 6, 2026
1:30 PM - 4:00 PM
New England Air Museum
Windsor Locks, Connecticut

The Grants Expo is an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of CTSGC-funded students and faculty, showcase research and project outcomes, and connect with fellow award recipients, faculty mentors, industry representatives, and members of the Connecticut STEM community.

We encourage all current and recent award recipients to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to share their work, network with peers and professionals, and learn about the exciting projects taking place across the Consortium.

Scholarship Recipients

Scholarship recipients are encouraged to attend the Grants Expo and participate in the award recognition ceremony.

  • Poster presentations are not required for scholarship recipients.
  • Award certificates will be available for pickup following the panel discussion.
  • If you are unable to attend, your certificate may be obtained from your Campus Director after the event.

Research, Fellowship, Project, Travel, and Internship Award Recipients

Students and faculty who have completed their CTSGC-funded project or award period are expected to present their work during the Grants Expo.

Poster Presentation Requirements

Award recipients should prepare a poster summarizing their funded project, research, fellowship, internship, or travel experience using the CTSGC poster template available on the Post-Award Requirements page.

Please note:

  • Posters should be printed in a 24" × 36" horizontal format.
  • One poster should be prepared for each funded award or project.
  • Award recipients should also upload an electronic version of their poster prior to the event.
  • If you are unable to attend the Expo, you are still required to submit your poster electronically so it can be displayed during the event.

Poster Display Information

Award recipients who RSVP by October 28, 2026 will have display space reserved for their poster and will be included in the event program.

Upon arrival, presenters will receive:

  • A poster display board
  • Easel or display space (if reserved)
  • Mounting materials (clips/pins) as needed

Award Certificates

Award certificates will be available for pickup following the panel discussion.

If you are unable to attend, please coordinate with your Campus Director to receive your certificate after the event.

Award Recipients with Ongoing Projects

We recognize that some projects may still be in progress on November 6, 2026.

If your award period has not yet concluded but you have sufficient results, progress, or preliminary findings to share, we encourage you to participate by creating and presenting a poster. This provides an excellent opportunity to discuss your work and receive feedback from faculty, peers, and STEM professionals.
