Aircraft Readiness Engineering Workshop

The Aircraft Readiness Engineering Workshop is a 5 day workshop hosted at Craven Community College in Havelock, North Carolina, just 15 minutes away from the Navy’s Fleet Readiness Center- East Facility . Participants will have the opportunity to build and fly RC aircraft, compete against fellow participants in an RC Flight Competition, go for a flight in a real military aircraft, tour the Fleet Readiness Center-East Facility and learn directly from Defense Engineers at the facility. Though this program is offered in conjunction with the North Carolina Space Grant, Connecticut students must apply to the Connecticut Space Grant using the form on the forms page of our website.
