The Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) University Design Competition for Addressing Airport Needs 2018-2019 Guidelines have been released by the Virginia Space Grant Consortium. This competition is a challenge for undergraduate and graduate students to work on teams or individually to address issues thatthe National Airspace System and airports around the country face. Teams compete in four open-ended, real world challenge areas: Airport Operation and Maintenance; Runway Safety, Runway Incursions and Runway Excursions; Airport Environmental Interactions; and Airport Management and Planning.
