Potentially the strongest hurricane every recorded by humans on planet Earth, Super Typhoon Haiyan made landfall in the Philippines as a Category 5 with sustained winds of 195 mph, and gusts to 235 mph. American astronaut Karen Nyberg photographed Haiyan from ISS and posted the image below on Twitter at 3:16 am EST, November 9, 2013 – 6.5 hours ago.
