The Connecticut Space Grant Consortium (CTSGC) is pleased to announce that applications are now open for Fall 2026. CTSGC supports a wide range of opportunities for affiliate faculty and students, including research projects, scholarships, fellowships, curriculum development, workforce development initiatives, STEM education programs, and community engagement activities aligned with NASA priorities.

Important Deadline

All proposals must be submitted by 11:59 PM on October 13, 2026.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to begin preparing their proposals now and review the appropriate Request for Proposals (RFP) before submitting.

Important Reminders for Faculty Applicants

If your proposal includes a budget, please contact your institution's Office of Sponsored Programs, Grants Office, or other appropriate administrative office as soon as possible.

Many institutions have internal review, approval, and submission requirements that require advance notice and processing time. Starting these conversations early can help avoid delays as the application deadline approaches.

Faculty applicants should also notify their institution's CTSGC Campus Director of their intent to submit a proposal.

Important Reminders for Student Applicants

Students planning to apply should notify their CTSGC Campus Director as early as possible regarding their intent to submit an application.

This is especially important for students applying to programs that require verification of U.S. citizenship, as supporting documentation may need to be provided through campus channels before proposal review.

A directory of Campus Directors is available on the CTSGC website. Early communication can help ensure all required materials are received before the deadline.

Reference Letters

Many student opportunities require one or more references.

To help avoid delays:

✅ Submit more than one reference email address whenever the application allows.

✅ Contact your references early to let them know they will be receiving a request.

✅ Follow up with your references before the deadline to ensure recommendation materials are submitted on time.
