Come see Dr. Mae Jemison speak about the achievements and obstacles faced throughout her life! A Peace Corp volunteer, NASA astronaut, and now principal of the 100 Year Starship Project, Mae Jemsion is a strong advocate for STEM education and the application of science and technology to every day life.  Admission is free and will be open to the public. CTSGC Summer Opportunities – Apply Now!

In addition to our usual spring/fall award cycles, the Connecticut Space Grant Consortium offers a number of summer funded opportunities.  This summer the CTSG is funding student-faculty summer research, and attendance to the Aircraft Readiness and Rock-On workshops.  Priority Deadline for all applications is March 15, 2016.  Apply now!     UG Student-Faculty Summer Research – Priority Deadline March 15, 2016 To encourage undergraduate student engagement in the research process, this grant will enable undergraduate students to gain meaningful research experience in CTSGC Affiliate research laboratories.  Full-time research projects should span a minimum of 8 weeks in length.
