The Midwest Region of Space Grant has announced that for the next three semester, they will be hosting once-a-semester videocons. These hour long talks will be formatted similar to a TEDTalk, and will be open to the entire Space Grant community. Each talk will be formatted with three specific parts. The first part of the talk will focus on scalable projects that other institutions could replicate, followed by a researach presentation and a general presentation. The first videocon will be held from 1 to 2 pm Central Time on Friday, April 19th, 2019. The topics are Teaching Introductory Physics Using High Powered Rocketry, Doing Plant Genetics Research on the ISS, and Using Rideable Hoverboards for “Astronaut Training.”
