The Washington Space Grant Consortium has announced a national student competition to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11. The competition will be hosted by Hub institution across the country and challenge teams of middle school and high school students. The students will be required to use a drone and another robotic system to simulate a lunar landing. This challenge will take place over the summer, during the anniversary of the landing from July 16-20, 2019. More information about this opportunity will be forthcoming.
